In
October 2008, Mr. Abel Nzeheke was recruited
to join the GTAP. He has assisted with
transect surveys in the logging zone
adjacent to the NNNP. Mr. Nzeheke received
an undergraduate and Master's degree from
the University of Cuba. He is a careful
observer and has quickly become a capable
team leader for ape habituation and
reconnaissance surveys. Further, his
leadership skills and dedication have
already proven essential to the GTAP
conservation and research efforts.
